T&B Landscaping and Design ("T&B Landscaping and Design," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request an estimate, hire us for a job, text or call us, or interact with our ads, and how we use, share, and protect that information.
By using our website or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit your information.
1. Who we are
T&B Landscaping and Design is a locally owned lawn care and landscaping company based in Arkansas, serving communities across the state. We provide lawn mowing, landscaping, hedge and shrub trimming, yard cleanup, and commercial lawn care services.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to information we collect:
- On this website, example.com, including any forms, quote requests, or chat features on it.
- By phone, text message, or email when you contact us or when we contact you.
- In person, when we visit your property to provide an estimate or perform work.
- Through advertising platforms and social media pages we operate or advertise on, including Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
This policy does not apply to any third-party website, platform, or service that we link to or advertise on. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your quote request, question, or booking, and prepare and send estimates.
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on lawn care and landscaping work at your property.
- Send you appointment confirmations, arrival notices, crew updates, weather-related rescheduling notices, invoices, receipts, and payment reminders.
- Provide customer support and resolve service issues, warranty claims, or complaints.
- Ask you for a review or referral after a completed job (see Section 6).
- Send you promotional offers, seasonal reminders, and marketing messages by email or text, where you have given us permission to do so.
- Measure and improve our advertising, including Google Ads and social media ads, and to show you relevant ads (see Section 10).
- Analyze site traffic and usage so we can improve our website, service pages, and pricing.
- Maintain business records, process payments, collect unpaid balances, and manage insurance and warranty matters.
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Where required by law, we rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw that consent at any time as described in Section 15.
5. Text messaging (SMS/MMS)
We use text messaging to run our business. This section explains our text messaging practices.
Our mobile data commitment
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, or the fact that you consented to receive text messages from us, to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties for marketing. We share mobile numbers only with the service providers who deliver messages on our behalf, and only so those messages can be sent to you.
How you opt in
You may consent to receive text messages from us by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to be contacted — for example by checking a consent box on our quote form, by texting us first, by telling our office or crew that texting is fine, or by signing a service agreement that includes text consent. Providing your mobile number is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any service from us.
What we send
- Conversational and transactional messages — replies to your questions, estimate follow-ups, appointment confirmations and reminders, "crew is on the way" notices, weather rescheduling, job completion notices, invoices, and payment reminders.
- Review requests — a short message after a completed job asking you to leave a review. See Section 6.
- Marketing and promotional messages — seasonal offers, service reminders, discounts, and availability notices. We send these only to customers and prospects who have agreed to receive marketing texts.
Message frequency, rates, and support
- Message frequency varies and depends on your interaction with us. Marketing messages are typically sent no more than a few times per month.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data charges apply to every message you send or receive.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts, other than messages strictly necessary to complete a job you have already booked.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (479) 222-5981 or info@example.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your carrier, device, or coverage.
Opting out
Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact, and it does not cancel a scheduled job. To stop other types of contact, see Section 15. We keep a record of your opt-out so we can honor it.
6. Review requests
Reviews are important to a local business, so after we complete a job we may ask you to share your experience. Review requests may be sent by text message, by email, in person, or through a follow-up phone call, and they typically include a direct link to our profile on Google, Facebook, or another review platform.
- Review requests are always optional. You are never required to leave a review, and leaving one is not a condition of any service, warranty, discount, or guarantee.
- We do not offer payment or discounts in exchange for a positive review, and we do not write, edit, filter, or fabricate reviews.
- If you leave a review, it is posted on that third-party platform under that platform's own terms and privacy policy — not ours. Your name, profile photo, and review text become publicly visible there, and we have no control over that platform's use of your data.
- We may publicly respond to reviews, and we may quote or display reviews and ratings on our website, in ads, and on our social media pages, along with the reviewer name or initials as it appears publicly on the review platform.
- You can opt out of review requests at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or telling us directly.
7. Email marketing
If you give us your email address, we may send you estimates, invoices, service updates, and — where you have agreed — promotional email such as seasonal offers and maintenance reminders.
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops promotional email but not transactional email about a job you have booked.
- We do not sell or rent our email list.
- Our marketing emails may include tracking pixels that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can measure what our customers find useful. You can block these by disabling remote images in your email client.
8. Phone calls and recordings
When you call us, or when we call you, we may keep a record of the call — including your phone number, the date and time, the length of the call, and notes about what was discussed. We may use call tracking numbers in our advertising so we can tell which ads generate calls; these tracking services record the same basic call details.
We may record or monitor calls for quality, training, dispute resolution, and record-keeping. Where a recording is being made, we will disclose it at the start of the call as required by applicable state and federal law. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us and we will end the recording or continue by text or email instead.
By giving us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you at that number about your inquiry and your job, including by autodialed or prerecorded calls and texts where you have consented. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchase, and you can revoke it at any time.
9. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies — including pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits — to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to measure and target advertising.
| Type | What it does | Can you turn it off? |
| Strictly necessary | Makes the site load, keeps forms working, protects against spam and abuse, and remembers your cookie choices. | No — the site will not function correctly without these. |
| Performance and analytics | Tells us which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they drop off, so we can improve the site. | Yes — through your browser settings or the opt-outs below. |
| Advertising and remarketing | Measures which ads led to a call or form submission, limits how often you see the same ad, and lets us show ads to people who have already visited our site. | Yes — see Section 10. |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as a service or city you looked at, so the site is easier to use on a return visit. | Yes — through your browser settings. |
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and let you browse in a private or incognito window. Blocking all cookies may break parts of the site, including forms.
10. Advertising, Google Ads, and remarketing
We advertise our services online, including through Google Ads (search, display, Performance Max, and local services ads), Google Analytics, and social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram (Meta). To make that advertising work, third-party vendors including Google place cookies and similar identifiers on your device.
What this means in practice
- Conversion tracking. When you click one of our ads and then call us or submit a form, the advertising platform records that a conversion occurred, so we know which ads and keywords are worth paying for.
- Remarketing and retargeting. Google, Meta, and their partners may show you our ads on other websites, apps, YouTube, and social platforms after you have visited our site. We may also build audiences of past visitors or customers for this purpose.
- Customer match and similar audiences. We may upload a hashed (scrambled) version of an email address or phone number to an advertising platform so it can show ads to you or to people with similar characteristics. Data uploaded this way is used only for our own advertising and is subject to the platform's own data terms. We do not upload mobile numbers collected for SMS consent for this purpose.
- Interest and demographic reporting. We may see aggregated reports about the age ranges, general locations, and interests of people who visit our site. These reports do not identify you personally.
Your advertising choices
- Google ad settings and personalization opt-out: adssettings.google.com
- Google Analytics browser opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta ad preferences: available in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
- Industry opt-out tools: NAI and DAA.
- Your device may also offer a "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting.
Opting out stops personalized advertising, not advertising in general. You will still see ads, they will simply be less relevant to you.
11. How we share information
We share personal information only in the circumstances below.
| Who | Why |
| Our employees and crews | To schedule and perform the work at your property. |
| Subcontractors | Where we use a vetted subcontractor for part of a job, they receive only the details needed to perform it. |
| Scheduling, CRM, and invoicing providers | To manage estimates, bookings, job records, and billing. |
| Messaging and email providers | To deliver the texts and emails you have agreed to receive. |
| Payment processors | To take card and bank payments securely. |
| Website hosting, security, and analytics providers | To run, secure, and measure this website. |
| Advertising platforms | To measure and target our advertising, as described in Section 10. |
| Professional advisers | Accountants, insurers, and attorneys, where reasonably necessary. |
| Legal and safety recipients | Where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, safety, or that of others, or to investigate fraud. |
| A successor business | In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy. |
Our service providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us, and are required to keep it confidential.
12. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent or trade our customer list. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include the use of advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent our use of advertising and analytics cookies is treated as a "sale" or "share" under those laws, you may opt out using the tools in Section 10, by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, or by contacting us at info@example.com.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
13. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we have a business or legal reason to.
- Quote requests that do not become jobs — typically up to 24 months, so we can follow up and recognize you if you come back.
- Customer and job records, invoices, and payment records — as long as needed for warranty, tax, accounting, and insurance purposes, generally at least seven years.
- Consent and opt-out records — retained indefinitely, so we can prove your consent and permanently honor your opt-out.
- Job photos — retained as part of our work records and portfolio (see our Terms of Service).
- Website analytics and advertising data — retained according to the settings and default retention periods of the platforms we use.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
14. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections on our website, access controls, and reputable service providers for payments and messaging.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as full card numbers, Social Security numbers, or passwords by text or email. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
15. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
- Access — to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction — to have inaccurate information corrected.
- Deletion — to ask us to delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep for legal, tax, warranty, or dispute purposes.
- Portability — to receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising — as described in Sections 10 and 12.
- Limit use of sensitive information — we do not collect sensitive personal information for the purposes that trigger this right.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
- Appeal — if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. Residents of some states may also contact their state Attorney General.
How to exercise your rights
Email info@example.com or call (479) 222-5981 with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us what you would like us to do. We will verify your identity — usually by confirming details we already hold, such as the phone number or service address associated with your record — and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization.
Communication preferences
- Text messages — reply STOP to any message.
- Marketing email — click unsubscribe in any marketing email.
- Phone calls — tell us and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list.
- Everything — email us and ask to be removed from all marketing contact.
16. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
17. Third-party websites and services
Our site links to and embeds third-party services, including Google Maps, review platforms, and our social media pages. Clicking those links or interacting with embedded content takes you into a service we do not control, which may collect information about you under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services.
18. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
There is no common industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and our site does not currently respond to them. Where our site is able to detect an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser and device that sent it.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
